Product Care

Keep your furniture intact over time and ensure their beauty and durability!

Fabric

Fabric is one of the key elements for a complete decorative effect. An important factor is proper care so that they can look "lively":

  • We recommend that you protect the fabric part of the furniture from the sun's rays so that their color does not change.
  • For proper cleaning of the fabric, the local use of a fresh cloth is recommended. In the event of a stain, use a damp cloth by making circular movements without pressure on the spot you want to clean. If the stain is persistent, we suggest using a baby wipe or neutral soap in the same way. Aggressive cleaners (acetone, benzine, bleach, solvents, etc.) should never be used, because they are very likely to alter the shade and/or texture of the fabric. All fabrics have specific maintenance and care instructions which must not be violated.
  • If the fabric specifications allow washing in the washing machine, prefer a lighter program at 30°C.
  • Back and seat cushions should be shaken at regular intervals.
  • Leather sofas and armchairs should be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner or dry cloth and when necessary with a light mixture of soap and water.
  • If you have pets, we suggest you choose stretchy or even better pet-friendly fabric, which is more durable and makes coexistence with your four-legged friend more comfortable.

Wooden Furniture

  • When receiving the furniture at your place, there may be some smell from the protective varnishes of the furniture. Ventilate the area sufficiently and the smell will gradually subside.
  • Do not place objects with high temperature or candles on the surfaces, as this may cause changes or discolouration of the material.
  • Do not leave your furniture exposed to the sun and moisture.
  • Do not use chemical cleaners on the surfaces of the furniture. Proper maintenance and cleaning should be done with a damp cloth.
  • Lacquered surfaces must be protected from minor knocks and wear, as they are particularly visible on the surface due to the nature and finish of the material. A microfiber cloth is recommended for cleaning.

Massif Furniture

  • In massif furniture, there is a possibility that the colors of the wood may differ from each other or that there may be two colors.
  • The knots and possible cracks that may appear are completely normal, as we are referring to an all-natural product.
  • Small differences in dimension may occur over time, since massif wood is a living organism that traps moisture which it gradually releases.

Marble Surfaces

  • Marble is a natural stone with shades unique to each surface and diversity per piece.
  • You should avoid contact of the marble with acidic liquids (lemon, wine, chemical cleaners, etc.), because there is a risk of a chemical reaction that will cause a permanent change in color.

Mattress

  • The mattress should be placed on 1) anatomical bed frame with wooden slats (gap less than or equal to 3.5 cm), 2) anatomical frame reinforced with elastic straps or 3) single support base, always in accordance with the specifications of each of our models. If the mattress is used in a frame that does not meet the above specifications, there is a risk of permanent damage to the mattress, even if the frame has been replaced afterwards.
  • When changing your mattress it is normal to feel uncomfortable at first. This phenomenon is due to the different pressures exerted on your body. Depending on your body type and the construction differences between the old and new mattress, an adjustment period of 2-4 weeks is required for your body to adapt to the new pressures.
  • You should turn the mattress regularly so that it is adequately ventilated and the creation of localized imprints of your body is avoided. If your mattress is single-sided (so only one side can be placed up) you should rotate it every 2 months (head ⇌ feet). If the mattress is double-sided (so both sides can be placed up) you should rotate it every 2 months (head ⇌ feet) and turn it every 4 months.
  • Do not use water or chemical cleaners, as moisture can be trapped inside and an unpleasant odor can occur.
  • Do not place heavy objects, bounce or stand on the mattress, as there is a risk of permanent damage to the pressured areas.
